DESCRIPTION:After taking the hit online program Posters & Cocktails live during our Art Deco show\, Poster House is thrilled to continue this new tradition with the first of two in-person events based on the exhibition Wonder City of the World: New York City Travel Posters.   \nJoin Nicholas Lowry of Swann Auctions Galleries\, Don Spiro of the Green Fairy Society\, and our very own Chief Curator & Director of Content\, Angelina Lippert\, for a night of high-proof entertainment surrounded by the best of New York City historic advertising. The evening’s theme? Why it’s none other than old New York vs. the Jet Age! \nThe evening will switch between specialty NYC-themed cocktails and the witty reparté of Nicho and Angelina as they highlight some of the best posters from the early days of the Big Apple to the slick visuals of Mad Men-era Manhattan.
