Join the Poster House Education and Accessibility Team for an exciting Chancellor’s Day PD exploring posters as a democratic, cross-curricular, and accessible medium. Through gallery tours, inquiry-based pedagogy sessions, and hands-on art-making, participants will discover and workshop new ways to bring museum education and accessibility best practices back into their classrooms. Educators will leave with classroom-ready materials for integrating posters into their curricula.

This professional development workshop is geared towards K–12 teachers. Advanced registration is required, and the program costs $25 (Educator Member discounts apply).

Participants will receive 4.5 CTLE hours. Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.

In-Person Accessibility Note: Masks and clear masks are available free of charge at the museum. Assistive listening devices, fidget tools, and stools are available. ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation or a CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) are available upon request.

Please contact access@posterhouse.org or (914) 295-2387 to request interpretation services and address any other accessibility needs. For other event-related questions, please contact info@posterhouse.org.
