The Swiss Grid
This microsite is an experimental approach to virtual exhibitions, conceived in 2020 to transform the on-site exhibition The Swiss Grid into a unique online experience. The subject of mid-century Modernist graphic design at the heart of the show, long heralded as a high point of Western culture, is critiqued throughout by educators who both love and hate the restrictions of this pared down and regulated aesthetic.
