NYC Must-See Week 2026: Behind the Scenes Archives Tour

Poster House is opening its archives to the public! Join Registrar Melanie Papathomas, Assistant Curator of Collections Es-pranza Humphrey, and Collections Specialist Alex Stern for a special behind-the-scenes glimpse at the museum’s exceptional poster collection. Participants will gather in the Storage and Conservation Room on the lower level for a preview of select highlights from the upcoming 2026 exhibitions.
Space is extremely limited—this intimate tour is capped at 12 participants.
Morning Session: 11am–12pm
Afternoon Session: 2–3pm
Evening Session: 5–6pm
Important Notes:
- No backpacks, food, or beverages are allowed in the Storage and Conservation Room
- Photography is not permitted during the tour
- While children are welcome, we ask that they are especially respectful of this delicate material and able to follow instructions around no touching, running, or other behavior inappropriate for this type of museum setting
