Fall Family Day at Poster House

Join Poster House’s Education Department for a day of free activities and fun for the whole family. In addition to complimentary museum admission, raffles, and drop-in art-making stations, attendees can enjoy all of our exciting family programs.
10am–2pm: Pick up one of our Kids’ Activity Cards at the Info Desk to play Poster Bingo around the museum. Finish a row and return to the Info Desk to claim a small prize.
10am–11am: Poster Tots
This program is designed to encourage children ages two and three (accompanied by their adults) to feel confident in museum settings. Participants will visit two posters in Fantastical Streets: The Theatrical Posters of Boris Bućan to learn about colors through hands-on gallery activities. Afterward, they will create an open-ended take-home art project using various colorful materials.
10am–12pm: Sticker Printmaking
Stop by the Kids’ Gallery on the Lower Level to create your own collagraph prints using stickers and other collage materials.
10:30am–12pm: Poster Kids, Just Design It!
Calling all designers! Explore the exhibition Just Frame It: How Nike Turned Sports Stars Into Superheroes through an exciting workshop activity in which participants will learn about branding and marketing. Poster Kids is an interactive, family-friendly tour and related art-making experience designed with children ages four to ten in mind.
12pm–2 pm: Button Making
Stop by the Poster History Timeline in the 24th Street lobby to make your own button inspired by Poster House’s previous exhibitions!
12:30pm–2pm: Bilingual Poster Kids, Just Design It!
Calling all designers!
