First Friday: Coyote and Crow Live at Poster House
7–8pm
Related Events
Celebrate the spirit of Blazing a Trail Dorothy Waugh’s National Parks Posters with a live performance by Coyote and Crow, a musical duo whose sound is rooted in nature, adventure, and the kind of free-spirited creativity that shaped Waugh’s extraordinary designs. Their set brings together foot-stomping rhythms, soulful vocals, and modern storytelling that evoke the landscapes and wild places captured in Waugh’s posters.
Coyote and Crow create a sound they call Old Time Rock and Soul, blending velvet and sandpaper vocals, unconventional banjo picking, and a homemade, upright banjo bass inspired by a Depression-era instrument. Their music embodies heartfelt themes of nature, life, love, and wandering.
