Stop by the Poster History Timeline during First Friday to try your hand at woodblock printing! Select from one of three designs made by teaching artist Sato Yamomoto, all inspired by the acclaimed exhibition Wonder City of the World: New York City Travel Posters. Don’t miss your chance to experience this historic printing method and walk away with your very own commemorative print!
Sato Yamomoto is a billingual Japanese artist inspired by culture and diversity. Born in Meguro, Tokyo and currently living in Westchester, New York, her unique style of art includes advanced ambidextrous and ukiyo-e printmaking skills that she uses in her practice.
