Step into Poster House’s new exhibition Blazing a Trail: Dorothy Waugh’s National Parks Posters and discover how postcards helped shape America’s love for its public lands. From the early days of rustic postal souvenirs to today’s artistic designs, postcards have long served as affordable, tangible messages that connect people—with friends, family, and the places they depict. During the 1930s, when Waugh made these posters and long before the digital age, they helped to promote conservation and environmental awareness.
Join us in a hands‑on creative station with Pengyou where you’ll:
- Create your own postcards from scratch using linocut and collage materials
- Carve out iconic part(s) of landscapes inspired by the national parks
- Seal it, stamp it, and send it—we provide real stamps so you can mail your creation directly to someone you care about
Whether you’re a nature lover, a budding designer, or a heritage enthusiast, you’ll leave with a unique souvenir—and a personal message sent straight from the heart of conservation history.
