Improvisational Drawing Intensive Workshop
12–3pm
This three-hour intensive workshop will explore drawing as an improvisational technique, opening avenues to new ways of interpreting form, color, and composition that go beyond direct representation. By exploring accidental imagery found in spontaneous and unplanned abstraction, participants will not only find new means of visual expression, but also tap into a sense of play that is often lost as artists begin to focus more on technical skill than on unrestricted pleasure. This class will work with collage, watercolor, and various other media.
