Instagram Takeover: Kah Yangni

As part of Poster House’s Pride Month programming, we are partnering with a host of young designers within the LGBTQ+ community and showcasing their poster work in dedicated Instagram Takeovers.

Head to Instagram on Mondays and Fridays in June to see amazing grassroots talent using posters today. Get special access inside their studios, hear their philosophy on how posters work, peek at their latest poster creations, and ask them questions!

This Monday, we are featuring the designer Kah Yangni. Yangni is an illustrator, printmaker, and muralist living in Philadelphia, PA. They make heartfelt art about justice, queerness, femme life, and joy. Their recent collaborators include Vice Life, Autostraddle, the National Women’s Law Center, Rock the Vote, the 2020 Free Our Mothers Poster Campaign, the Transgender Law Center, Forward Together, Girls Rock Philly, and others. Their work has been mentioned in Them, Colorlines, and Mashable.
