Members-Only Tour: One Hundred Views of the Moon

Ronin Gallery is pleased to offer Poster House Members an advanced tour of their upcoming exhibition, Yoshitoshi’s One Hundred Views of the Moon. 

Regarded as one of the great masterpieces of ukiyo-e, this woodblock print series offers not only creative and technical brilliance, but also unfettered passion. From tales of vengeful ghosts and legendary heroes to poetic musings and otherworldly encounters, Yoshitoshi threads together poetry, folklore, literature, and history beneath the light of the moon. The exhibition is accompanied by a fully illustrated catalog that includes an introductory, essay, catalog entries, and full-color illustrations.
