Whether you’re going uptown, downtown, or all around town, stop by Poster House to take in the sights of one of the museum’s new exhibitions, From the Bronx to the Battery: The Subway Sun! Learn about the history of the New York subway system on an interactive tour of Fred Cooper’s colorful, humorous posters from the 1930s. Then craft and decorate your own miniature subway car and take it across the city!
This program invites children 5–11 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome). This is not a drop-off program. Admission is free; advanced registration is required.
Accessibility Note: Masks and clear masks are available free of charge at the museum. Assistive listening devices and stools are available. ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation or a CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) is also available upon request.
