Fantastical Streets: The Theatrical Posters of Boris Bućan showcases work by Boris Bućan, a celebrated Croatian artist and graphic designer. He emerged in the 1960s with a unique and democratic approach to storytelling that made him one of the country’s most important poster designers. Together we will explore this exhibition of some of his theater posters, read stories, and create our own posters inspired by our favorite tales.
Join Poster House on select Sunday mornings from 10:30am–12pm for a family-friendly, interactive poster tour and a related art-making experience. Admission is free; advanced registration is required. This program invites children 4–10 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome). This is not a drop-off program.
Accessibility Note: Masks and clear masks are available free of charge at the museum. Assistive listening devices and stools are available. ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation or a CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) is available upon request.
