Members-Only Reception: Wonder City of the World

Poster House invites you to a Members-only reception honoring Nicholas D. Lowry and Angelina Lippert as part of our five-year celebration. 

On May 8, join us for a conversation with Lowry and Lippert about Wonder City of the World: New York City Travel Posters, followed by a cocktail reception and book signing of the exhibition catalog, published by Cernunnos. Hear about their favorite stories behind the show and working together on Poster House’s very first publication as we pay tribute to these two incredible champions of the poster medium and their many contributions to the museum. 

Nicholas Lowry is the President of Swann Auction Galleries and has served on the Advisory Board of Poster House since its inception, providing instrumental guidance to the museum as it grew. He is the curator of our anniversary exhibition Wonder City of the World: New York City Travel Posters that tells the story of the city we know and love as it flourished into a world-class destination.

Angelina Lippert is the intrepid Chief Curator & Director of Content of Poster House who has curated over ten exhibitions in five years, given hundreds of tours, hosted scores of events, and ensured our signature high quality of exhibition programming for the museum.
