Lorenzo Homar treated his lettering and typography with as much care, creativity, and precision as he did his illustrations. Text is often the most graphic element in his posters, inviting the viewer to see them as both visual objects and sources of information.
Join design and typography historian Paul Shaw for an in-depth tour of the exhibition Puerto Rico in Print: The Posters of Lorenzo Homar, focusing entirely on the designer’s use of lettering in his posters. This tour is appropriate for the novice lettering scholar as well as the advanced type nerd.
