West Side Fest: In-Person Accessibility Tour—Love & Fury
10:15–11:45am
Related Events
Join Lead Educator and Accessibility Coordinator Jes Hughes for an in-person accessibility tour of Love & Fury: New York’s Fight Against AIDS. This tour will include a vibrant verbal description of select posters and their histories, and will allow guests to experience the posters up close. ASL interpretation will also be provided on this tour by Inclusive Communication Services.
While everyone is welcome, Poster House offers accessibility tours specifically for community members who are blind, have low vision, or who would otherwise benefit from verbal descriptions, as well as those who prefer ASL interpretation.
This program is part of West Side Fest, a three-day celebration of arts and culture across Manhattan’s historic West Side, organized by the West Side Cultural Network.
Accessibility Note: Masks and clear masks are available free of charge at the museum. Assistive listening devices and stools are available. Please contact access@posterhouse.org or (914) 295-2387 to request interpretation services and to address any other accessibility needs. For other event-related questions, please contact events@posterhouse.org.
