West Side Fest: Postcard Block Printing with Mikey Quackenboss

Sunday, Jul 12, 2026
1–3:30pm

Drop by the Poster History Timeline near the 24th Street entrance to the museum to try block printing with Brooklyn-based artist Mikey Quackenboss! Print postcards using an array of designs inspired by the museum’s current exhibitions. Take these mementos home or send them to a loved one to say greetings from Poster House!

No experience necessary; available while supplies last.

This program is part of West Side Fest, a three-day celebration of arts and culture across Manhattan’s historic West Side, organized by the West Side Cultural Network.

Mikey Quackenboss is a Brooklyn-based printmaker and tattoo artist. Drawing on his roots in the DIY-bike-punk scene, he combines traditional American tattoo techniques with linoleum block printing, using hand-carved stamps to create robust graphic designs.

Accessibility Note: Masks and clear masks are available free of charge at the museum. Assistive listening devices and stools are available.
