Poster House is thrilled to welcome distinguished design historian Michael Lellouche for an in-person conversation with curator Tim Medland on their exhibition Art for Art House: The Posters of Peter Strausfeld. This lively interview will explore Strausfeld’s life and legacy, focusing on his visionary posters for London’s Academy Cinema. Learn about the artist’s unique graphic language, his role in shaping mid-century British visual culture, and the enduring appeal of his bold, minimalist designs. Together, Lellouche and Medland will reflect on his impact as both an artist and an unsung figure in the history of cinema and design. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to discover the man behind these graphic masterpieces.

Added bonus: Copies of the exhibition catalogue—the first English-language publication dedicated to the artist—will be available for purchase in the Shop during the event. This is the *only* opportunity during the run of the exhibition to get both the curator and the collector to sign your copy!

Doors open at 5:30; seating is first come, first served. A cash bar will be available!
