Très mignon! Trailblazing female design duo Lefor-Openo created an iconic cartoon style in their posters, as highlighted in our exhibition Cuteness, Conservatism, & Consumption: Lefor-Openo and Postwar France. Lefor-Openo’s signature characters are the template for this month’s Poster Kids workshop, which elevates classic paper dolls to playful couture. Explore the Education Workshop’s collection of paper and fabric ephemera and dress your character up to be as cute as one of Lefor-Openo’s!
This program invites children 5 to 11 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome). This is not a drop-off program.
The education team reserves five tickets for each Poster Kids event for families who cannot pay the fee. Please reach out to education@posterhouse.org for further details.
Refunds are not available for this program.
