German-born artist and designer Peter Strausfeld made a name for himself with his evocative posters for screenings of numerous classic and avant-garde films at the Academy Cinema in London during the second half of the 20th century. Discover the secrets of the art house poster and then apply them to the design of your own movie poster. For the finishing touch: use woodtype and a printing press to create a bold, stand-out movie title!
This program invites children 5–11 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome).
This is not a drop-off program.
