Poster Kids: You Animal, You!

Sunday, Jun 11, 2023
10:30am–12pm

The panther is a majestic and rare animal that was used as the symbol of the Black Panther Party. It was used to reflect the strength and uniqueness of Black people, and was an important icon for the community. Together, we will learn about this historic organization and create crests inspired by animals with which we identify. What animal do you feel best represents your strengths?

Join Poster House on select Sunday mornings from 10:30am–12pm for a family-friendly, interactive poster tour and a related art-making experience. Admission is free; advanced registration is required.

This program invites children 5–11 years old and their adults to collaborate (siblings are welcome). This is not a drop-off program.
