Join Leslie Diuguid of Du-Good Press for an introductory screenprinting and zine-making workshop. Participants will print from a pre-designed screen onto colorful paper and learn how a single printed sheet can be transformed into a unique zine format. Along the way, Leslie will introduce the basics of screenprinting, share examples from her practice, and guide participants in creating a one-of-a-kind printed booklet to take home.
This program is part of West Side Fest, a three-day celebration of arts and culture across Manhattan’s historic West Side, organized by the West Side Cultural Network.
Leslie Diuguid is a Brooklyn-based printmaker and the founder of Du-Good Press, a screenprinting studio and publishing house dedicated to collaboration, education, and community building through print. Since founding the press in 2017, she has worked with artists across disciplines to produce fine art editions and one-of-a-kind projects while sharing the craft of screenprinting through workshops and mentorship. Diuguid received her BFA in Printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute and is a passionate advocate for accessible, hands-on printmaking.
