Woodblock Printing Workshop

Poster House is pleased to partner with teaching artist Sato Yamamoto for this two-day woodblock printing intensive workshop. Over the course of this two-day workshop, participants will learn the basics of this historic Japanese printing technique and carve their own woodblock print. All skill levels are welcome to join for this informative workshop–no prior experience is necessary.

Sato is a Japanese, bilingual artist inspired by culture and diversity. Born in Meguro, Tokyo and currently living in Brooklyn, New York, her unique style of art includes advanced ambidextrous and ukiyo-e printmaking skills that she uses in her artistic practice.

This is a two-day art intensive. The program will run from 12–3pm on July 29 and July 30.
