Join us for an evening of live music with Spilata, presented in connection with Act Black: Posters from Black American Stage & Screen. Bringing jazz, house, and a wide range of musical influences together, Spilata draws from the rich traditions of Black American music and performance while delivering bold, contemporary energy. Inspired by our exhibition’s exploration of Black artists across theater, music, and film, this intimate concert celebrates creativity, innovation, and the enduring influence of Black cultural expression.

Seating will be first come, first served.

Spilata is the performance project of a Brooklyn-based jazz vocalist, songwriter, composer, and educator. A fixture of the New York jazz scene, Spilata has performed at renowned venues including Birdland, Minton’s Playhouse, and Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, as well as on stages across Europe, Asia, and Oceania. He brings together jazz, house, disco, and a wide range of musical influences to create an electrifying live experience.
